Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2025 or BGIS 2025 is the fourth edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series. The tournament is organized by KRAFTON and features a total prize pool of INR 3,21,00,000.
Format
League Stage: Feb 16th - Apr 6th, 2025
Round 1: Feb 16th - 23th, 2025 1024 Teams, 8 matchdays. 1016 Teams from In-Game Qualifiers. Bottom 8 Teams from The Grind Week-1. Teams divided into 64 groups with 16 Teams in each group. Each team plays a total of 6 matches. Top 7 Teams from each group + Top 48 Teams among the remaining teams (Total 496 Teams) qualify for Round 2. Round 2: Feb 27th - Mar 2nd, 2025 512 Teams, 4 matchdays. 496 Teams from Round 1. Top 8 Teams from The Grind Week-1. Bottom 8 Teams from The Grind Week-2. Teams are divided into 32 groups with 16 Teams in each group. Each team plays a total of 6 matches. Top 7 Teams from each group + Top 16 Teams among the remaining teams (Total 240 Teams) qualify for Round 3. Round 3: Mar 6th - 9th, 2025 256 Teams, 4 matchdays. 240 Teams from Round 2. Top 8 Teams from The Grind Week-2. Bottom 8 Teams from The Grind Week-3. Teams are divided into 16 groups with 16 Teams in each group. Each team plays a total of 6 matches. Top 6 Teams from each group + Top 16 Teams among the remaining teams (Total 112 Teams) qualify for Round 4. Round 4: Mar 11th , 12th , 15th & 16th, 2025 128 Teams, 4 matchdays. 112 Teams from Round 3. Top 8 Teams from The Grind Week-3. Bottom 8 Teams from The Grind Week-4. Teams are divided into 8 groups with 16 Teams in each group. Each team plays a total of 6 matches. Top 7 Teams from each group (Total 56 Teams) advance to Quarter Finals. Top 16 Teams among the remaining teams advance to Wildcard. Quarter Finals: Mar 20th - 23th, 2025 64 Teams, 4 matchdays. 56 Teams from Round 4. Top 8 Teams from The Grind Week-4. Teams are divided into 4 groups with 16 Teams in each group. Each team plays a total of 6 matches. Top 16 Teams based on the cumulative overall standings advance to the Semi Finals Week 1. Remaining 48 Teams advance to the Wildcard. Wildcard: Mar 24th - 27th, 2025 64 Teams, 4 matchdays. 48 Teams from Quarter Finals. 16 Teams from Round 4. Teams are divided into 4 groups with 16 Teams in each group. Each team plays 3 matches over 2 days. After 2 days, based on the overall standings teams are re-shuffled. Again, each team plays 3 matches for 2 days. Top 16 Teams based on the cumulative overall standings advance to the Semi Finals Week 1 . Semi Finals Week 1: Mar 29th - 30th & Apr 1st - 2nd, 2025 32 Teams, 4 matchdays. 16 Teams from Quarter Finals. 16 Teams from Wildcard. Teams are divided into 4 groups with 8 Teams in each group. Round-robin format. Each team plays a total of 12 matches. Top 8 Teams advance to the Grand Finals. Remaining 24 Teams proceed to Semi Finals Week 2. Semi Finals Week 2: Apr 3rd - 6th, 2025 24 Teams, 4 matchdays. Teams are divided equally into 3 groups of 8. Double Round-robin format. Each team plays a total of 16 matches. Top 8 Teams advance to the Grand Finals. The Grand Finals: Apr 25th - 27th, 2025 at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan India Kolkata. 16 Teams, 3 matchdays. 8 teams from Semi Finals Week 1. 8 teams from Semi Finals Week 2. 18 matches (6 each day).
