Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 or BGIS 2023 is the second edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series. The tournament is organized by KRAFTON and features a total prize pool of INR 2,00,00,000.
Format
- Round 1: Aug 31st - Sept 3rd, 2023
- 2048 Teams from In-Game Qualifiers, divided into 128 groups.
- Top 3 Teams from each group + Top 96 from the remaining teams will qualify for Round 2.
- Round 2: Sept 7th - 10th, 2023
- 512 Teams (480 Teams from Round 1 + 32 Teams from The Grind), divided into 32 groups.
- Top 7 Teams from each group will qualify for Round 3.
- Round 3: Sept 14th - 17th, 2023
- 256 Teams (224 Teams from Round 2 + 32 Teams from The Grind), divided into 16 groups.
- Top 4 Teams from each group will qualify for Round 4.
- Top 16 from the remaining teams will move to Losers Bracket.
- Round 4: Sept 21st - 24th, 2023
- 64 Teams from Round 3, divided into 4 groups.
- Top 4 Teams from each group will qualify for Semi Finals.
- Remaining 48 Teams will move to Losers Bracket.
- Losers Bracket: Sept 28th - Oct 1st, 2023
- 64 Teams (16 Teams from Round 3 + 48 Teams from Round 4), divided into 4 groups.
- Top 4 Teams from each group will qualify for Semi Finals.
- Semi Finals: Oct 4th - 7th, 2023
- 32 Teams (16 Teams from Round 4 + 16 Teams from Losers Bracket), divided into 4 groups of 8 Teams each. Round Robin Match-Ups.
- Top 16 advance to Grand Finals.
- Grand Finals: Oct 12th, 13th & 15th, 2023
