Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024 or BGIS 2024 is the third edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series. The tournament is organized by KRAFTON and features a total prize pool of INR 2,00,00,000.
Format
- Round 1: May 2nd - 5th, 2024
- 1024 Teams from In-Game Qualifiers, divided into 64 groups.
- Top 7 Teams from each group + Top 32 from the remaining teams will qualify for Round 2.
- Round 2: May 9th - 12th, 2024
- 512 Teams (480 Teams from Round 1 + 32 Teams from The Grind), divided into 32 groups.
- Top 7 Teams from each group + Top 16 from the remaining teams will qualify for Round 3.
- Round 3: May 16th - 19th, 2024
- 256 Teams (240 Teams from Round 2 + 16 Teams from The Grind), divided into 16 groups.
- Top 3 Teams from each group will qualify for Round 4.
- Top 16 from the remaining teams will move to Wildcard Entry.
- Round 4: May 23rd - 26th, 2024
- 64 Teams (48 Teams from Round 3 + 16 Teams from The Grind), divided into 4 groups.
- Top 4 Teams from each group will qualify for Semi Finals Week 1.
- Remaining 48 Teams will move to Wildcard Entry.
- Wildcard Entry: May 30th - Jun 2nd, 2024
- 64 Teams (16 Teams from Round 3 + 48 Teams from Round 4), divided into 4 groups.
- Each Group will play 3 matches in 2 days, then teams will be reshuffled into new group, & will play 3 matches again.
- Top 16 Teams based on overall standings will qualify for Semi Finals Week 1.
- Semi Finals Week 1: Jun 6th - 9th, 2024
- 32 Teams (16 Teams from Round 4 + 16 Teams from Wildcard Entry), divided into 4 groups of 8 Teams each. Round Robin Match-Ups.
- Top 8 advance to Grand Finals. Remaining 24 Teams will move to Semi Finals Week 2.
- Semi Finals Week 2: Jun 13th - 16th, 2024
- 24 Teams divided into 3 groups of 8 Teams each. Round Robin Match-Ups.
- Top 8 advance to Grand Finals.
- Grand Finals: Jun 6th - 9th, 2024
